Why mesh? What are the advantages?
We regularly supply a range of wire mesh lockers to several industries where visibility and ventilation are essential. Multiple compartment and bespoke options are available.
They’re ideal for:
- Damp site clothing/PPE
- Sports equipment
- Outdoor equipment
Typical installations are anywhere between 50 and 1000 lockers, with larger sites occasionally investing in customised models for specialist purposes.
Available in large quantities
We have previously supplied lockers for up to 8000 site operatives on a single contract for a major infrastructure development in Somerset, UK. Here, we delivered bespoke specification product in phases as site requirements advanced.
How it works:
Lockers supplied in ‘nests’
As standard, mesh lockers are supplied in nests of two, providing a manageable unit. Therefore, single tier (or compartment) lockers are always sold in pairs.
Application for 2x, 3x and 4x options etc…
Mesh lockers are usually supplied in 1 or 2 tier format for use on construction sites, however the configurations available on standard lockers can be up to 6 tier.
Bolt to floor
For maximum stability, we always recommend bolting your lockers to the floor
Hasp and staple padlock mechanism
The standard arrangement for lockable doors is a hasp and staple lock which will accept most padlocks. These are usually supplied by the operative.
